Excess weight charges

Waster seeks to avoid excess weight charges for general waste – by allocating sites to the correct weight category. Excess weights if consistently above agreed weights will be charged as per below:

– NSW sites: $0.49+GST per KG

– Other States and Territories: $0.37+GST per KG

A general waste 1100 litre wheelie bin collection will be from street level – and is emptied by a regular garbage truck. We can provide a padlock and key – so that the bin can be left out locked.

We can provide you with a padlock so the bin can be left out locked – preventing illegal dumping.

Note – this is larger bin than a standard 240 litre wheelie bin, or 660 litre general waste bin.
