Please choose the size box you’d like to purchase. When you receive your box fill it with the appropriate waste streams. Once full ship your box back to TerraCycle using the pre-paid ย shipping label which is already affixed to your box. When we receive your box, we’ll safely recycle all of the collected materials.

TerraCycle has created a zero waste solution for disposable gloves. Use this box to recycle your disposable gloves including plastic, nitrile, vinyl and latex gloves. See important restrictions below – we cannot accept gloves that have been in contact with bodily fluids.

 

Do not include hair nets, ear plugs, lab coats or garments. Do not include any gloves that have been in contact with any substances classified as toxic, infectious, pathogenic, flammable, reactive, corrosive, ignitable or radioactive.

 

The collected waste is mechanically and/or manually separated into the various forms of plastic that make it up. The separated plastics then undergo extrusion and pelletization to be molded into new recycled plastic products.

You receive a sturdy cardboard box pre-affixed with a prepaid Australia Post return label. Once full, simply seal and post it backโ€”TerraCycle handles all collection, sorting, and recycling into new plastic products.

 

What types of gloves can I recycle?

All single-use disposable gloves are made of nitrile, vinyl, latex, or polyethylene. Please ensure they are free of sharp objects and excess fluids before packing.

 

What items are not accepted?

Do not include multi-use rubber gloves, gloves contaminated with hazardous chemicals or biohazardous materials, medical sharps, or household hazardous waste (batteries, pressurised canisters, pesticides, paint).

 

How do I prepare and return my box?

Fill the box with your clean disposable gloves, seal it securely, and drop it off at any Australia Post outlet using the prepaid label affixed to the box.

 

Is there a weight limit?

Yesโ€”the combined weight of the box plus contents must not exceed 20 kg to comply with Australia Post guidelines.
