Please choose the size box you’d like to purchase. When you receive your box fill it with the appropriate waste streams. Once full ship your box back to TerraCycle using the pre-paid Australia Post shipping label which is already affixed to your box. When we receive your box, we’ll safely recycle all of the collected materials.

Recycle media storage through this Zero Waste Box.

TerraCycle has created a zero waste solution for media storage. Use this box to recycle any object capable of storing data, audio and/or video, in analog or digital format.

Accepted: Media storage including records, 8-track tapes, cassette tapes, CDs, DVDs, Blu Ray discs, floppy disks, memory sticks and external hard drives.

Do not include record players, 8-track players, cassette players, TVs, VCR players, CD players, DVD players or computers.

The collected waste is mechanically and/or manually separated into metals and plastics. Metals are melted for so they may be recycled. The plastics undergo extrusion and pelletization to be molded into new recycled plastic products.

We do not accept household hazardous waste such as lithium ion batteries, pressurized canisters, pesticides, paint or medical sharps nor any item that is or has come into contact with anything classified as flammable, reactive, corrosive, ignitable, radioactive, toxic, infectious, or pathogenic.

We do not provide secure destruction so please make sure any personal information is removed from the device before being placed in a Zero Waste Box.
