“Please be extra vigilant to ensure no gloves/hairnets/PPE that have been in contact with any substances referred to below (which includes anything classified as toxic, infectious, pathogenic) are placed within the Zero Waste Boxes.

We do not accept household hazardous waste such as lithium ion batteries, pressurized canisters, pesticides, paint or medical sharps nor any item that is or has come into contact with anything classified as flammable, reactive, corrosive, ignitable, radioactive, toxic, infectious, or pathogenic.”

Accepted materials – discarded disposable garments, chemical protection suits, flame resistant suits, smocks and nitrile gloves.

Please choose the size box you’d like to purchase. When you receive your box fill it with the appropriate waste streams. Once full ship your box back to TerraCycle using the pre-paid shipping label which is already affixed to your box. When we receive your box, we’ll safely recycle all of the collected materials.

You receive a sturdy cardboard box pre-affixed with a prepaid Australia Post label. Once full, seal it and post it back. TerraCycle handles all collection, sorting, and recycling for new plastic products.

Used safety and protective gear, including earplugs, beard nets, hair nets, hard hats, gloves (nitrile, vinyl, latex), disposable garments, safety masks, and glasses.

What items are not accepted?

Do **not** include any item that is or has come into contact with toxic, infectious, pathogenic, flammable, reactive, corrosive, or radioactive substances. Also, household hazardous waste (lithium batteries, pressurised canisters, pesticides, paint) and medical sharps should be excluded.

How do I order and return the box?

Select your box size (Small, Medium, or Clear) on the product page, add to cart, and check out. Delivery takes ~7 business days at no extra cost. When it’s full, simply seal the box and drop it in the mail using the prepaid label.
