Soft Plastics Waste Recycling ♸ Zero Waste Box
Put all of your soft plastic waste in the Soft Plastic box to ensure that all of your waste is recycled.
Please choose the size box you’d like to purchase. When you receive your box fill it with the appropriate waste streams. Once full ship your box back to TerraCycle using the pre-paid shipping label which is already affixed to your box. When we receive your box, we’ll safely recycle all of the collected materials.
Please note we will not accept household hazardous waste such as pressurized canisters, pesticides, oil-based paint or medical sharps, organics, broken glass, bio-medical waste, soiled diapers or expired medication. In addition, we also will not accept any item that is classified as sharps, flammable, reactive, corrosive, ignitable, radioactive, toxic, infectious, or pathogenic.
Use this box to recycle any dry soft plastics that can be scrunched into a ball (no rigid plastics). This includes items such as:
- Biscuit packets (outer wrapper only)
- Bread bags (without the tie)
- Bubble wrap
- Cat and dog food pouches (as clean and dry as possible)
- Cellophane from bunches of flowers
- Cereal box liners
- Chip and cracker packets (silver lined)
- Confectionery and snack wrappers
- Frozen food bags
- Ice cream wrappers
- Pasta bags
- Plastic bags
- Plastic film wrap from grocery items such as toilet paper
- Plastic sachets
- Potting mix and compost bags
- Rice bags
- Snap lock bags / zip lock bags
Please make sure your plastic is dry and as empty as possible.
Do not include food waste, coffee bags, rigid plastic, balloons, sticky tape and paper mailing satchels.

- Collect: Collect the accepted items to fill the system.
- Ship: Send it back to TerraCycle with the prepaid return label on your system.*
